Context of the Intervention

The Interim National Account Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring business continuity, optimizing account performance, and preparing the ground for long-term commercial success.
Role Overview
The Interim National Account Manager will lead strategic relationships with major retail accounts, execute targeted commercial plans, and drive short-term growth while supporting organizational transition. The role requires a hands-on commercial leader with strong negotiation skills, proven retail expertise, and the ability to travel as needed to maintain close relationships across the country.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop relationships with major retail accounts.
- Design and implement short-term commercial and promotional plans aligned with corporate objectives.
- Negotiate listings, pricing, and trade terms to maximize profitability and ensure continuity.
- Analyze sales performance, identify quick-win opportunities, and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and finance to ensure seamless execution.
- Support the transition toward a long-term commercial organization model, ensuring knowledge transfer and alignment.
Qualifications
- 7–10 years of experience in sales or key account management within the CPG / food & beverage industry.
- Demonstrated success in managing national or regional grocery accounts.
- Strong negotiation, relationship management, and analytical skills.
- Autonomous, action-oriented, and results-driven, able to create impact quickly.
- Immediate availability for an interim mandate.
- Bilingual (English/French) preferred.
