Overview
Our client, a Toronto-based company is undergoing rapid expansion fueled by sustained M&A activity. To keep pace with this growth and prepare Finance for the next stage, the organization is seeking an Interim Executive with CFO experience to lead a technology-driven transformation of its Finance function.
We are looking for a hands-on leader who can design the vision, select the right tools, and drive implementation with measurable impact, someone who combines strategic insight with practical execution.
Key Mandate
- Redefine the role of Finance so it is positioned for the company’s next phase of growth, moving from transactional to strategic.
- Introduce advanced technologies (ERP optimization, AI, automation, data analytics) to modernize operations and enable smarter decision-making.
- Design a Finance roadmap for the next 5 years, ensuring alignment with business strategy and future growth scenarios.
- Automate manual processes (AP, reporting, reconciliations) to unlock time for higher-value analysis.
- Maximize ERP utilization and integrate complementary digital tools.
- Implement AI-driven forecasting and analytics to provide forward-looking insights.
- Develop the team into data-driven business partners, equipping them with the skills and tools to generate insights, not just reports.
- Strengthen internal audit, compliance, and reporting frameworks through technology-enabled solutions.

Profile
- Proven track record as a CFO, Interim CFO, or Senior Finance Executive leading transformation.
- Strong experience in digital finance, including ERP systems, process automation, and AI applications in Finance.
- Background in M&A integration and scaling Finance organizations to meet future needs.
- Demonstrated success operating as an interim executive or independent consultant.
